Separation Anxiety

Last month, I posted about me torn between some choices.

Well, here I am, trying to keep awake waiting for 4am to head for....Boracay! Yep, I decided to miss Avril Lavigne's concert, postpone the roadtrip to Vigan and go to Bora for free! It's our office summer outing and I couldn't say no to my officemates. Besides, a free trip to Bora doesn't come around often. So, here I am, all packed and ready to go.

I wish I could say "all packed and raring to go" but I can't, because Myke isn't going with me. I'll be gone until Sunday and this is the longest time Myke and I will be apart. He just left a few minutes ago and I already miss him. He can actually tag along, but he can't take a leave from work. Sigh.

Now, I'm torn between being excited about the trip and missing Myke. Ah well.

I know I'll have a wonderful time in Boracay (with the Bikini Open happening? oh, yeah!) with my wild and crazy officemates, take some photos, drink lots and lots of Jona's refreshing shakes and maybe get another tattoo. Also, I am already looking forward to sharing my Bora stories and photos with Myke and hear his own "time-apart" story.

Besides, this will be a good chance to experience singlehood again. Boys, here I come! (hehehe! just kidding, sweetie!) Seriously, I will take this opportunity to get a much needed rest, spend some time alone and recharge.

My own corner

Well, aside from being stressed and all, I figured, it would also be nice to have a blog of my own. So I can post entries on stuff that are not really related to Myke and Anne. I've done that in our blog a few times already and it just doesn't make sense reading it within our blog. Plus, my friends can post comments that are directed to me only.

So, here it is, my own corner. Do visit as often as you visit He Said. She Said. :-)

It's still a work-in-progress, so please bear with the template. I'll get around to fixing it. Of course, I took the liberty of duplicating all the links in He Said. She Said. in here. Hehehe.

I'm happy now. So, I'm happily going back to work.
