Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is one of my favorite movies of all time! I have seen this film ten times over since I was a kid (Thanks to my future sis-in-law, Anya, I now have an original DVD copy). Imagine my excitement when they announced the remake. I was too excited that I became too worried that the remake will fall short of my expectations.
Well, I was not disappointed at all (It was worth watching it in Gateway's Globe Platinum Cineplex 10 - but that's a different story.)! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory rocked! I won't go into comparing the two versions because I love both!
I swear, I am such a fan! I will definitely let (make is more like it, hehe) my kids watch this (after Lion King, hehehe) as soon as they are old enough to understand.
