Happiness All Around

Collected my cash winning for betting on Taylor Hicks as the next American Idol.

Just bought a new digital camera (no it's not my dream camera) for an absurdly low, low price.
***
After a long, long while, I got to see not one but two good movies -- Da Vinci Code (no, i'm not gonna glorify those people who wanted to ban this film, by commenting. yes, my faith is still strong as ever) and X-MEN 3 (love those kick-ass mutant powers).
***
Finally changed my not-so-high tech-mobile phone to one that can support the latest mobile technology.
***
My consultancy job is finally over and I can once again be a full-time wife (yes, i am loving it.). Can't wait to collect my paycheck!
***
Went on a retail therapy yesterday with a friend and got some really good stuff.
***
A friend of mine called to say she's fetching me this afternoon for some catching up. She'll tell me about her new "boy".
***
Spent a couple of hours with my Mom alone last Sunday and spending a whole day with her tomorrow. It's true what they say. Your relationship with your mother changes once you're married. My Mom and I have always had a wonderful relationship, but now, it's even better. It's great!

As part of my consultancy job, I was privileged to have been invited to the gala night of the IMAX theater in the new SM Mall of Asia (don't ask me about the mall, i'm no shopping fan). Boy, it was indeed an experience! Watching movies in 3D is just uber cool! Can't wait to watch Superman there (thanks for the free passes!).

Of course, I gotta write about FINALLY meeting Piolo Pascual! I've obviously been admiring (okay, okay, fantasizing) about this boy for the longest time. I really like him SO MUCH that I just freeze every time I bump into him (this is how i am with all my crushes -- torpe). Until I get invited to an event, and saw him there! And as expected, I froze. And no matter how much my friend and my hubby tried to drag me and encourage me to muster up the courage to come up to him for a photo op, they couldn't. Thank goodness that another friend of mine, who happens to be friends with Piolo, was there and introduced us (Tata, I owe you one, dude. Thank you, guid!).

I am showered with a lot of good things in life and I am not complaining (Heck, I must have done something good to deserve this!). Life is just great that only "Thank You's" are in my prayers. With all the blessings that come my way, I can't even get myself to do the last part of my prayer guide -- A.C.T.S. (A=adoration; C=confession;T=thanksgiving;S=supplication).

Ahh, life is great and I thank you, God.

Now, if only I can lose weight, it would be perfect! Hehehe.
