Food Frenzy

I think pregnancy has unleashed the foodie in me. Not only have I become a perpetual eating machine, I can't seem to stop thinking about food! Anything about food!

Aside from wanting to eat a different cuisine everytime, watching cooking shows, getting a certain food fix and satisfying a craving, I have started obsessing about cooking, that I have started collecting/clipping recipes and sticking them on a notebook given to me 2 years back!

This obsession have crossed-over to my computer games! I recently got myself a Cooking Mama: Cook Off Wii game! It's virtual cooking right inside my bedroom. With lots of recipes to choose from! So fun!

Mother's Day

My fellow pregnant friend couldn't have said it better, "Mother's Day has taken a different, more special meaning now". I couldn't agree more.

Being greeted "Happy Mother's Day" was heartwarming, but it felt strange...surreal (Imagine being greeted by my mom!).

Since getting pregnant, I have more respect for mothers now more than ever. I believe motherhood begins from the day you conceive. It's no joke carrying and giving life to a child. And it does not stop there! The list just goes on and on!

Kudos to all mothers out there! One day in a year isn't enough to celebrate the wonderful person that you are.

And to all those who greeted me yesterday, THANK YOU SO MUCH! With 2 months more to go, I can't wait to take on this new role that's given to me. Plus, get rid of the weight that I have, and continue to gain! :)

That's my fearless forecast.

Admittedly, I have been rooting for Michaels Johns, sadly, Americans do not approve of a mixed-race idol (I believe this is why Carly is out and Sayesha and Jason are still around. Grrr.). I can't tell who among the Davids will bag the award, but personally, I like Cook because of his out of the box arrangements and renditions. I can say the same thing for Archuleta, but he tends to be boring at times.
